What to include in a makeup brush RFQ.
A clear request for quotation helps both buyer and manufacturer compare the same product requirements. It reduces avoidable back-and-forth before sampling begins.
01 / PRODUCT PURPOSE
Describe how the tool will be used.
Name the product family and intended application: for example, foundation, powder, blush, blending, liner or a complete set. A reference image can help communicate shape, but state which details are essential and which are only visual inspiration.
02 / MATERIALS & FINISH
Separate preferences from requirements.
List any confirmed fiber, ferrule, handle, finish, colour, dimension or performance requirements. If these are still open, say so. That makes it possible to discuss practical alternatives without treating a preference as a final specification.
03 / BRANDING & PACKAGING
Explain where the brand must appear.
Include logo files when available and identify the intended decoration area. Note the packaging format, retail information, languages, barcodes or market-specific labels that may affect the final pack design.
04 / QUANTITY & MARKET
Provide the commercial context.
State the target quantity, intended market, desired timing and whether the project is a trial order, a retail launch or a repeat programme. This information supports a more relevant discussion of materials, packing and production planning.
05 / SAMPLE APPROVAL
Define what must be approved before production.
Before bulk production, align on the review points for the sample: shape, density, finish, logo, packaging and any agreed quality criteria. Keep the approved sample and written specification as the project reference.
