Start with brush fit and protection
Match the pack to the actual assortment rather than a generic photograph. Review clearance around brush heads, contact with handles and movement when closed or carried. With double-ended brushes, check both heads and the way the tool is removed and returned. Evaluate the pack with the product sample: attractive presentation does not establish dimensional fit or ease of use.
- Specify dimensions, closure and the intended internal arrangement.
Separate artwork from destination information
Define branding, colours, languages and reading order, then reserve space for information confirmed by the importer. Review names, product references, care wording and marketing claims before printing. Do not add certification marks or environmental and material claims without evidence covering the actual product and pack. Check text at its printed size, not only in an enlarged artwork file.
- Keep one approved artwork version linked to the pack specification.
Review packing alongside the order and shipment
Request pack and carton dimensions, weight and sets per carton once the design is settled. Changes in arrangement or accessories can change shipment information, so do not rely on freight calculations based on an earlier pack. Record responsibility for labels, assembly and final review, and confirm the selected packaging options and quantities in the project quotation.
