Identify the place and receiving party
Give the destination country, city and intended port or address, and explain whether delivery is to a warehouse or another receiving point. Identify the importer and the party handling clearance, charges and local transport. The offer should state its delivery point, included tasks and exclusions, so a price for part of the route is not compared with a different scope unnoticed.
- Ask which charges remain payable at destination.
Use confirmed packing data
Provide sets, carton count, dimensions for each carton type and net and gross weights. If packaging is not settled, label the information as an estimate that needs updating. Do not combine measurements from different versions. A box, pouch or arrangement change may alter shipment size and weight, so link the freight calculation to the packing version used.
- Check that the packing list matches the final quantity.
Separate production from arrival
Sampling is 7–10 days and production is 35–45 days, with combination, customization and schedule subject to quotation. Allow separately for your sample review, artwork approval, booking, transit and clearance. If there is a launch date, request a plan showing decision points and room to address changes. Do not interpret the production range as a promise that goods will reach your warehouse within that period.
